Nursery Plus – a county wide initiative to promote inclusion through early identification and assessment of children with special needs
Little Otters Pre-School is a not-for-profit registered charity focused on "Learning through Play". We operate from the East Budleigh Village Hall, which is accessible to all and has a dedicated outdoor space for the children to extend their play all year round.
Our aims:
• to work in partnership with parents/carers to help the children learn and develop and to help shape the service we provide
• to be involved in the life and well-being of the local community
• to be an inclusive setting and meet the needs of every child.
Our focus:
Informal learning through play. We aim to ensure that children:
• have a happy and positive time in a safe and stimulating environment
• are given generous care and attention
• develop a wide range of attitudes and skills that will enable them to be active learners
• have the opportunity to join with other children and adults to play and learn together
• will have had the necessary experiences and support to aid their transition to school.
